Returns – Refunds – Replacements & Cancellations Policy

My Handicraft India  believes in helping their customers as much as possible and therefore has a liberal. We’ll do the needful under our standard return/refund/cancellation policy mentioned above on this page.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Before the Product is Shipped:
    • If you cancel your order before the product has been shipped, we will refund the entire amount promptly.
    • For COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, we will simply cancel the order.
    • To cancel, please send an email to myhandicraft.india@gmail.com or visit the Order Status section on our website.
    • You can also reply to any email communication from the My Handicraft India team about your order, and we will process your cancellation request as soon as possible.
  2. After the Product is Shipped:
    • If your order has already been shipped but not delivered, contact Customer Support immediately, and we will recall the parcel.
    • Once the product has been delivered, cancellation will no longer be applicable. You may, however, initiate a return or replacement request.

Return Policy

  • If the product received is defective, damaged, or not as per your expectations, you must inform us within 48 hours of receiving the product.
  • Email us at myhandicraft.india@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. You can also select the Return option under your Order Status and mention the reason for return.

Steps for Returning a Product

  1. Approval: The My Handicraft India Care team will review and approve your return request.
  2. Pickup: Once approved, we will arrange a return pickup at a mutually agreed time within 2–3 days.
  3. Packaging: Ensure the product is packed securely with all original tags, packaging, and postcards as received.
  4. Video Evidence: Please shoot a video before opening the parcel to document its condition. This will be helpful in case of any disputes.
  5. Courier Receipt: Collect the courier receipt at the time of pickup for acknowledgment.

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be initiated after the product has passed quality checks at our facility.
  • The refund amount will be credited to the same payment mode used during the purchase within 7 working days (excluding payment gateway charges, approximately 3%).
  • If the return location is outside India, customers must bear the shipping charges.

Replacement Policy

  • If the product received is defective or damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving it.
  • Email us at myhandicraft.india@gmail.com or select the Replace option in your Order Status, mentioning the reason for replacement.

Steps for Replacing a Product

  1. Approval: The My Handicraft India Care team will review your request and approve it.
  2. Pickup: Once approved, we will arrange a return pickup within 2–3 days.
  3. Packaging: Ensure the product is packed securely with all original tags, packaging, and postcards as received.
  4. Video Evidence: Record a video of the parcel before opening it and during packing for the return.

Replacement Process

  • Replacements will be processed after the product has passed quality checks.
  • The replacement product will be shipped to the same address as the original order.
  • Replacements typically take 7 working days to process.

Shipping Charges for Returns

  • If the return is due to a defect or damage caused by us or during transit, shipping charges will not be deducted.
  • For all other reasons, actual shipping charges for onward and return shipments will be deducted.
  • Customers sending returns on their own will be reimbursed shipping charges in the form of a gift card (valid for future purchases).

Products Purchased on Sale

Products bought during a sale are eligible for cancellation, returns, or replacements under the following conditions:

  • The customer must initiate the request within 48 hours of receiving the product.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
  • If the product is found tampered with or not in the same condition, the request will be denied.

Important Notes

  • Tampered Parcels: Do not accept parcels that appear tampered with.
  • Quality Check: Refunds and replacements are subject to quality checks upon return.
  • Payment Gateway Charges: Refunds will exclude approximately 3% payment gateway charges borne by the customer.
  • International Orders: Returns for international orders are not cost-effective. We recommend choosing carefully before placing an order.
